In my role as Social Media Content Producer for Yoga Girl®, I developed their social media strategy and email marketing campaigns, and produced content and designs that inspired and fostered a community centred on yoga, self-healing, and mindfulness. Founded and owned by Rachel Brathen (@yoga_girl), a Swedish-native, New York Times best-selling author and international yoga teacher, Yoga Girl® boasts over 2 million social media followers and a global audience in over 170 countries. Rachel also hosts two #1 podcast shows, "From The Heart with Rachel Brathen" and "The Daily Practice with Rachel Brathen." My responsibilities within this health and wellness industry position included brainstorming and developing engaging content, publishing across multiple social media platforms, and executing email marketing campaigns to further expand the Yoga Girl® community and brand reach, giving the brand a visual online presence that speaks to their core values: yoga, healing, meditation, community, nourishment, and growth. It's a gift to be part of this community, supporting their mission in these ways.
